Ukraine expects to reach an agreement on the start of negotiations on the revision of the Association Agreement with the EU in 2021. This was stated by Minister of Economic Development, Trade, and Agriculture of Ukraine Igor Petrashko, the press service of the Ukrainian Embassy in Poland reported.
"The Minister noted that Ukraine expects to reach an agreement on the start of negotiations on the revision of the Ukraine-EU Association Agreement in 2021 and hopes for Poland's friendly support in this important issue," the statement said.
It is noted that, in particular, the priority task is not only to further deepen trade liberalization but also to the philosophy of the economic part of the Agreement as a whole.
The Minister also noted that despite the negative consequences of the coronavirus pandemic, in the third quarter of this year, the Ukrainian economy began to recover.
