Ukraine informed its partners from the EU about critical state of the Ukrainian political prisoner Pavlo Gryb kept in Russia, as Mykola Tochytskyi, Ukraine’s Ambassador to the EU, wrote on Twitter.
We informed our EU partners @eu_eeas on critical heath condition of Pavlo #Hryb. We call on the EU to step up pressure on Russia in order to provide him immediately with necessary medical care. Only with resolute joint efforts we can save Pavlo's life. #FreeHryb

Earlier it was reported that a 20-year-old Ukrainian Pavlo Gryb needs heart surgery, his health condition was critical.
As we reported earlier, Pavlo Gryb is the son of the former Ukrainian border guard Ihor Gryb. The Russian special service detained the 19-year-old boy on August 25, 2017, when he went to Gomel (Belarus) to meet his friend. Later, he was convoyed to Russia. The Russian law enforcers suspect Pavlo Gryb of preparing a terrorist attack at a school in Sochi (a city in Krasnodar Krai, Russia, located on the Black Sea coast, - 112 International).
Russia did not provide the European Court of Human Rights with information about the Ukrainian political prisoner Pavlo Gryb's health status.
