Diplomatic advisors of Ukraine, Germany and France condemned violation of ceasefire regime by Russia-backed militants during the meeting in Minsk on April 6. This was reported by the press service of Ukrainian president referring to the results of the meeting.

"The Ukrainian, German and French parties decried violation of ceasefire regime, introduced on April 1, 2017 pursuant to the decision of the Trilateral Contact Group of March 29, 2017, by Russia-backed militants," the message reads.

At the same time, it is noted that parties stood for "immediate consolidation of ceasefire in Donbas".

Sides also stressed that OSCE SMM must be ensured security as well as unhindered access to all occupied territories, while "the Russian side was urged to take every necessary effort to prevent militants from intimidating the Mission’s observers".

Ukraine, Germany and France once again called on Russian Federation to unblock the process of liberation of hostages in Donbas, particularly on the eve of Easter.

"The Ukrainian party emphasized that the latest steps of Russia and Russia-backed militants in Donbas, particularly de-facto expropriation of Ukrainian enterprises and recognition of illegal documents contradict the Minsk agreements and endanger the whole settlement process," it was informed.
