"Ukrainian issue" became one of the major subjects during Munich Security Conference, President Poroshenko is convinced. He wrote this on his Facebook page.

"It is highly important for Ukraine to remain one of the first and major topics during Munich Security Conference. And we have received a strong message of international support towards Ukraine," Head of State noted.

The Munich Security Conference (MSC) is an annual conference on international security policy and takes place in Germany on February 17 – 19. Ukrainian President and Foreign Minister have held a number of bilateral meetings in the framework of this summit. In particular, President Poroshenko has discussed situation in Donbas with the US Vice-President Michael Pence. The Foreign Ministry leaders have also met in Normandy Contact Group.

This year’s conference was dedicated to the Transatlantic and NATO’s relations after the election of Donald Trump as the US President, the state of cooperation in security and defence sphere within the European Union, crisis in Ukraine and relationship with the Russian Federation, Syrian war and security situation in Asia-Pacific region including Korean Peninsula.
