Turkey not to recognize Crimea's annexation, - Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Turkey supports the territorial integrity and inviolability of frontiers of Ukraine and condemns the Crimea annexation; Ankara have never recognized it, it have always protected the Crimean Tatars and will continue to do so, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu said on the press-conference with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin, as Ukrinform reports.

“Taking an opportunity, I would like to outline that we support the territorial integrity and inviolability of frontiers of Ukraine. We condemn the Crimea annexation, we have never recognized it. Today we have proved that we want to protect Crimean Tatars”, - said the Foreign Minister of Turkey.

According to Çavuşoğlu, the country supports the peaceful ending of the Donbas conflict in the framework of the international law and will continue to support the actions of the temporary monitoring mission OSCE.

As we reported earlier, the head of the foreign ministry of Ukraine, Pavlo Klimkin and his colleague Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu outlined the bilateral agenda of the countries for 2019-2020.
