UK Prime Minister Theresa May could implement Article 50 of the Treaty of Lisbon, launching Brexit process this Tuesday, March 14.
This was reported by Daily Telegraph.
According to the publication, after Brexit deal is approved by both House of Commons and House of Lords on March 13 and ratified by Queen Elizabeth II next day, May will be able to formally trigger the process of leaving EU.
It is also informed that UK Cabinet ministers are privately pressing Mrs May to "get on with Brexit" and trigger Article 50 "as soon as possible", the newspaper’s source claims.
Beyond that, 27 members of the EU will hold "extraordinary meeting" on April 6 if Article 50 is enacted, according to German Chancellor Angela Merkel.
