The High Representative of the European Union for Foreign and Security Policy, Federica Mogherini, said that the European Community had made the largest investments in Ukraine. The Head of European Diplomacy said this during a plenary session, the EU External Relations and Security Policy reports.

"Since 2014, we have collected the largest support package in the history of the European Union for Ukraine - worth over 15 billion euros. We have invested in Ukraine more than any other country in the world. And no other partner has invested in Ukraine as much as we have," Mogherini emphasized.

She noted that throughout the years the European Union had always stood by Ukrainian people.

As we reported earlier, the EU has repeatedly expressed support for Ukraine in processes of reformation, restoration of territorial integrity and sovereignty, and desire to release Ukrainian political prisoners from Russian prisons.

At the same time, the EU does not remain indifferent to the respect and protection of the freedom of expression in Ukraine.
