The European Union has delayed the session of EU-Ukraine Association Council. The event will be held in face-to-face mode, not as video conference. DW reported that with a reference to the source in the EU.
Previously, the plan was to hold the Council session as video conference due to the coronavirus pandemic. Such a meeting in the virtual format would be an informal one; all formal decisions in the EU are made only in the face-to-face mode.
The video conference was scheduled for December 8. Ukraine would be represented by Prime Minister, while High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy would represent the EU.
Earlier, the EU released the annual report on the implementation of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement. The paper focuses on the latest development in terms of conducted reforms, which is part of the Agreement. The EU recommends that Ukraine carry on with these reforms.
