The aggressive policy of Russia has led to the activation of NATO, forcing it to demonstrate its ability to act decisively. This was stated by Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic integration of Ukraine Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze in an article for ZN.UA.

Vice Prime Minister noted that NATO today is only amplifying its potential.

"In the European Union the key trends of the day are the disintegration and euroscepticism. But NATO wakes up: it is impossible not to notice the intensification of all its structures, demonstrating the ability to take decisive steps (for example, the sending  troops to the Baltic states, expanding its presence in Poland and Romania), an effective search for adequate responses to new types of threats (including cyber attacks and information provocation). In Russia, the alliance (apparently for the first time since the collapse of the Soviet Union) got the enemy: real, tangible and geographically localized ", said Klympush-Tsintsadze.

According to her, today, no one in NATO has illusions about the events in Ukraine.
