A group of attackers fired a grenade launcher at Istanbul police station in Turkey. It was reported by CNN Turk.

According to the mayor of Istanbul Vahip Sahin, the attackers tried to attack the building with light anti-tank weapons, but missed. None of the staff was injured.

Police cordoned off the area and began investigation of the incident.
