Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine will pay the work visit to Brussels on June 22. The press service of the President of Ukraine reported this.

‘During the visit, the head of the state will meet with Donald Tusk, the President of the European Council, Joseph Daul, the President of the European People’s Party (EPP) and other leaders of the EU countries-members. Moreover, the president of Ukraine will take part in the expanded summit of EPP’, the message said.

The press service specified that Poroshenko should inform about the escalation of Donbas Conflict, violation of the Minsk Agreements by Russia to guarantee the positive decision of the European Council to extend the sectoral sanctions against Russia.

Also, Poroshenko plans to discuss issues connected with the preparation of the Ukraine-EU summit that will take place on July 12-13 in Kyiv.

The heads of the states and governments of EU countries will hear the directory of Angela Merkel, the Chancellor of Germany and Emmanuel Macron, the President of France on the fulfillment of the Minsk Agreement on Donbas at the summit that will take place on June 22-23.
