Ukrainian leader Petro Poroshenko and Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte met on the sidewalks of the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. The press center of the Ukrainian president reported that on Thursday evening.  

‘The head of the Ukrainian state thanked the Prime Minister for political solidarity and practical assistance for Ukraine as it withstands the Russian aggression’, the message says.

The President added that he counts on the further support of the Netherlands in terms of the sanctions policy towards Russia – until Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity are restored. He also expressed hope that the two countries will tightly cooperate in the UN – including cooperation within the UN Security Council.

The sides coordinated efforts aimed at the punishment of those behind the downing of MH17.
