Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko met with the representatives of Ukrainian community, living in Republic of Estonia. This was reported by the press-service of the Ukrainian president.
According to the message, the meeting took place in the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church of Ukrainian Cultural Centre in Tallinn.
The President thanked Ukrainian diaspora for help, stressing that efforts by Ukrainians abroad to support Ukraine are very important - they help Ukrainians to defend their homeland against external aggression, strengthening ties between Ukraine and Estonia and bring our country closer to Europe.
Poroshenko stressed that Ukrainian officials, diplomats and parliamentarians are doing everything to ensure a global coalition in support of Ukraine, and called these actions one of the most effective tool to ensure the territorial integrity, independence and protection of the sovereignty of our country.
The President emphasized that Ukraine has consistently been doing reforms and is gradually changing, the best European practices and standards are being introduced, including the ones from Estonian side.
