The issue of the bilateral collaboration and cooperation within Normandy Format will be under consideration during the meeting of Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine and Emmanuel Macron, the President of France. Isabelle Dumont, the Ambassador of France to Ukraine reported this, according to Interfax-Ukraine.
‘The bilateral relation, the issue of the future of Ukraine, connections with Europe and of course, Donbas situation will be discussed at the meeting. Of course, as we the part of the Normandy Format, we supervise and work to find the way out from this situation. Of course, it will be the basis of the discussion’, she noted.
Also, Dumont confirmed that the meeting will take place in the near future.
‘The Foreign Policy of France on the issue of Ukraine will be continued’, she added.
Earlier, Pavlo Klimkin, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine announced the meeting of Petro Poroshenko, the President of Ukraine and Emmanuel Macron, the President of France.
At the moment, Petro Poroshenko visits Washington. The leader of Ukraine met Mike Pence, the Vice-President of the USA and Rick Perry, the United States Secretary of Energy.
