Poland will replace Ukraine among non-permanent members of UN Security Council starting from January 1, 2018. This was reported by the press service of Ukrainian mission to UN on Twitter.

The message also says that Kuwait, Côte d'Ivoire, Equatorial Guinea, Poland, Peru were elected as UNSC non-permanent members for 2018-2019. It is also noted that Netherlands was elected for 2018.

"Poland is going to replace Ukraine," Ukrainian diplomats say.
