Poland provides 100 million euro credit for building infrastructure in Ukraine

Polish government allocated 100 million euro for modernization of Ukrainian transport infrastructure. This was reported by Rynek infrastruktury portal. 68 million euro should be directed at improving quality of roads.

Ukrainian side has already presented the Polish partners with its offers on projects to be funded by this help. Currently Polish authorities should evaluate the given suggestions to define the direction to finance.

It is informed that Poland provides credits for Ukraine based on intergovernmental agreement on mutual assistance. Through such lending Poland expects to stimulate border traffic, it is also expected that it would boost development of Eastern Polish regions. 

175 km of roads are to be repaired in total with Polish funding in 2017.
