Poland and Polish people can’t feel safe until the government secures all basic principles of democratic society; and conflict with Ukraine will not make things better. Donald Tusk, former Polish Prime Minister and President of the European Council said that while on air of TVN24 channel.  

According to Tusk, there is no modern European Poland without independent courts, entirely free media, without respect for the law or liberal democracy. ‘There is no safe Poland as long as there is a conflict with Ukraine’, he said.
