Chief Delegate of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Madeleine Moon said that the PA is ready to cooperate with the newly elected Verkhovna Rada which will be formed after the snap parliamentary elections. This was reported by Moon during the press conference, as the Interfax-Ukraine News Agency informs.
“The NATO Parliamentary Assembly will help Ukraine with European integration process and will be cooperating with the new parliament,” Moon said.
Chief Delegate of the European Parliament David McAllister added that “EU will help Ukraine to face outside threats.”
“The European Parliament and the Verkhovna Rada came to the unprecedented cooperation. We were helping Rada in the development of its possibilities, mediatization and dialogue. We hope the future Rada will be working on the building of national consensus and reformation. The European Parliament is interested in the further cooperating with Rada,” McAllister said.
As it was reported earlier, The Canadian Mission of 2019 announced that snap parliamentary election in Ukraine was conducted in accordance with international democratic standards. This was stated in the report of the Canadian Mission 2019.
