The great progress of Ukraine on the way to the European integration is observed in recent time but there are a lot of to do yet. The President of the NATO Parliamentary Assembly Paolo Alli claimed this at the joint briefing with the Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Andriy Paruby. 112 Ukraine broadcasted it.
'We organized a few events with the support of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine. Also, this seminar is in the list. We discuss the safety in the Black Sea Region because we see that the threat comes from the East and it is not only Russia but also it is China. The Parliamentary Assembly is determined for the further maintain of the territorial integrity of Ukraine and judge of the illegal annexation. In the recent times we observe the great progress of Ukraine on the way to the Euroatlantic integration.
There are a lot of things to do yet byt we see the great progress. We sure that Ukraine will be able to become the member of NATO and we, the Parliamentary Assembly, will support it', Alli said.
He thanked for the offer to hold the next PA sessions in Ukraine.
'We discuss this issue now. I hope we will have the possibility to arrive here and hold the session of the PA', he said.
The Chairman of the Ukrainian Parliament Andriy Paruby claimed that Ukraine offers to hold the NATO PA session in Kyiv at the briefing. The issue will be considered in autumn.
