There are no figures with anti-Polish views in Ukraine’s political environment. Maryana Betsa, the speaker of Ukraine’s foreign ministry said this in her commentary for Interfax news agency.

‘The Ukrainian government remains committed to pro-European policy, and there are no politicians with anti-Polish attitude of mind. Ukraine is Poland’s strategic partner, and this is the basic idea of our policy towards Poland and the Polish nation. We’re ready for constructive dialogue and we have no intentions to apply politics in the area of historical events, which affected relations between the two countries,’ Betsa said.

This is the ministry’s response to the recent decision of the Polish government; according to foreign minister Waszczykowski, the individuals with strong anti-Polish mindset will not be let onto this country’s territory.
