Netherlands' MFA expects positive vote on EU-Ukraine Association

The Ministry assured that the Government of the Netherlands is determined to complete the process of ratification of the document

The Dutch government is strongly  committed to complete the ratification process of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU. On this during a meeting with his Ukrainian colleague Pavlo Klimkin stressed the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands Bert Koenders, informs the press service of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

According to the statement, Koenders expressed hope for a positive vote in Parliament on this issue.

In addition, during the meeting of the foreign ministers special attention was paid to Russian provocations in Avdiivka and ways of resolving the situation in Donbas.

"Bert Koenders has assured us in the immutability of Ukraine's further support from the Netherlands, of the territorial integrity and sovereignty of our state", added in the message.

It should be noted, previously in Munich Klimkin met with his Canadian counterpart Khristya Freeland and discussed prospects of trade between the two countries after the entry into force of the Agreement on free trade area (FTA).
