The leader of the Socialist Party of the Netherlands Harry van Bommel asked the Parliament to vote for a decision, which obliges Ukraine to sign an additional political document concerning the Agreement on the EU-Ukraine Association. It is reported by European truth.
The offer is put on the agenda of the Lower House of Parliament.
According to the report, the offer will be considered today after 18:30 pm Kyiv time immediately after the vote for a government bill, which suggests to ratify the agreement on association with Ukraine.
"Having heard the debate, the State Council comes to the conclusion that the legal decision of binding declaration, which should be a response to the results of the referendum, where 61% of the voters were against the agreement on association", says van Bommel.
The offer notes that an additional agreement "does not affect the Ukraine", but rather is aimed at ensuring that the government will follow up the implementation of the will of the voters in the process of ratifying the agreement.
