NATO fighting group starts displacement to Estonia in the 6 coming weeks including personnel, weaponry and combat logistics. This was reported by Interfax referring to Margus Tsahkna, the Estonian Minister of Defence.

"Estonia is ready to accept allies. The military battalion group will hold major exercise of the Armed Forces in May," Minister claimed.

International battalion in Estonia will be headed by Great Britain, it will also consist of units from France and Denmark.

It is known that Britain will present the military unit with a strength of 800 troops, equipped with Warrior IFVs, Challenger 2 tanks and tactical UAVs, yet another 300 troops from France, equipped with Leclerc tanks and APCs.

The decision to deploy the forces of allies in Latvia, Lithuania, Estonia and Poland was taken on NATO summit in Warsaw last June.
