The head of European diplomacy, Federica Mogherini, called the plans of Oleksiy Goncharuk’s government and the administration on reforms and resolution of the conflict in Donbas, presented by the Foreign Minister of Ukraine in Luxembourg on Monday, satisfactory. This was reported by the press service of the European External Relations and Security Policy.
"We have welcomed the new Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine (Vadym Prystaiko - ed.). We have received a very comprehensive and satisfactory picture of the plans that the government and the administration have on the reform agenda of the country, but also on how to address the conflict in the east of Ukraine," said Mogherini.
She also assured that the EU is willing to support Ukraine, its sovereignty, its territorial integrity, its policy of not recognizing the illegal annexation of Crimea, and its reform agenda.
As we reported earlier, Mogherini stated that the European Community had made the largest investments in Ukraine.
"Since 2014, we have collected the largest support package in the history of the European Union for Ukraine - worth over 15 billion euros. We have invested in Ukraine more than any other country in the world. And no other partner has invested in Ukraine as much as we have," Mogherini emphasized.
