MEP apologized for delaying visa-free regime for Ukraine

Member of Europen Parliament Saryusz-Wolski apologized to Ukraine for blocking the ratification by the Netherlands of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement, reports "Ukrinform".

"Delaying the visa liberalization process is unclear, and so you have become hostages of the visa issue between the EU and Turkey. It should not be like that. Therefore forgive us for it.", - Saryusz-Wolski said.

He also apologized for Ukraine because of unresolving the issue of Russian gas pipeline "Nord Stream-2".

"In the matter of the OPAL pipeline, which is an offshoot of the" Nord Stream "Ukraine has become hostage to the Western business and political interests of the EU. Therefore forgive us." - MEP said.
