Main presidential nominees in France have voted at the election. This was reported by Agence France-Presse.

Former Finance Minister Emmanuel Macron, nominee from the Socialist party Benoit Hamon and candidate of the New anti capitalistic party Philippe Poutou have given their votes.

Marine Le Pen, the leader of National Front, also cast her vote.

François Fillon, the Former Prime Minister of France and the candidate from Republicans party, voted at the polling station in 7th district of Paris.

Nathalie Arthaud, candidate of the French communists and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan, leader of Debout la France party, also appeared at the sites.

11 candidates are fighting for the presidential post overall. According to latest surveys, five candidates remain the favorites of presidential race — Emmanuel Macron, the Former French Minister of the Economy, Finance and Industry, leader of En Marche party, Marine Le Pen, the leader of the National Front, François Fillon, the Former Prime Minister of France, candidate from Republicans party, French politician Jean-Luc Mélenchon, leader of La France insoumise party and Benoit Hamon, the member of the Socialist Party.
