Lithuania to pass Ukraine weaponry worth 2 mln Euros

The country's defense ministry prepared respective draft bill for consideration of the Parliament

Lithuania considers the opportunity to pass Ukraine small arms and other weaponry totally worth of 1.93 million Euros. This is mentioned in the respective draft bill prepared by the government; it was submitted by the defense ministry and released on the website of the e-parliament, Radio Liberty wrote.   

Lithuania could pass Ukraine roughly 7,000 Kalashnikov assault rifles, over 2 million cartridges, about 80 machineguns, several mortars, anti-tank weapons and other kinds of weaponry. 

The draft law was sent for consideration of Finance and Foreign Ministries.
