The transcript of a telephone conversation between President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky and President of USA Donald Trump lacks some phrases related to former US Vice President Joe Biden. This was stated by National Security Council member Alexander Vindman during testimony in Congress, The New York Times reports.
According to Vindman, he was not able to add important words and phrases to the transcript of the conversation between Trump and Zelensky. The missing phrases referred to Trump's statement that records on Biden’s corruption in Ukraine exist. The President of Ukraine also mentioned Burisma.
As newspaper reports, Lieutenant Colonel Vindman's testimony will force investigators to ask White House’s staff additional questions about how officials handled the call, including changes to the transcript, and the decision to place it in the most secret computer system.
