Ukraine's new IMF arrangements will pave the way for EU macro-financial assistance to Kyiv. EU Ambassador to Ukraine Matti Maasikas stated this on his Twitter page.

“Much needed and timely conclusion of the staff level agreement, international recognition of ongoing reforms in Ukraine. Together with the recent adoption of anti-money laundering law (final analysis of which still ongoing), should open the way also to the EU’s macro-financial assistance,” the ambassador stated.
