The German government is to hand 1.5 million vaccine doses over to Ukraine. Angela Merkel, the German chancellor said so during her meeting with Ukrainian president Volodymyr Zelensky.

Earlier, during his visit in Germany, president of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky stated that Nord Stream 2 is not an economic project, but a security issue for Ukraine and other European Union countries. He said this in an interview with LRT.

According to Zelensky, many countries understand that the gas pipeline is a security issue not only for Ukraine, but also for many other EU countries.

"I believe that these issues can be resolved only comprehensively. It is impossible to solve the problems of the European continent at the cost of Ukraine. I believe that this is simply unacceptable. Therefore, we will fight as much as we can and, and I am sure, longer than many countries," he said.
