German Leopard tanks, Marder armored personnel carriers, Dachs engineering vehicles were deployed to Sestokai town in Lithuania. All of them will be available for NATO battalion located in Lithuania, according to Delfi.

The battalion commanded by Germany is one of the four so-called NATO fighting groups, located in Baltic countries and Poland. Great Britain will be commanding battalion in Estonia, Canada will be commanding in Lavtia, USA to be in charge of Poland.

There are currently 300 out of 450 soldiers to be deployed in Rukla (Lithuania). Military contingents of Belgium, Netherlands, Luxembourg, Norway, France and Croatia will join them later on.
