Ukraine's Presidental Administration

Federal Chancellor Angela Merkel welcomes the reforms which are being implemented in Ukraine. She reported this during the briefing in Berlin which was broadcast by “112 Ukraine” TV channel.

“Close relationship has been established between our countries, friendship I would say. And for the last 2,5 years this friendship has become even stronger. Thus, we are willing to continue cooperation in a climate of trust.  We want to help Ukraine in word and deed on a wide scale. I very much welcome the reforms which are being implemented in Ukraine. These are very tough restrictions from the IMF. Ukraine has fulfilled all the requirements and we fully support these steps towards reforming the state. We will advise and assist,” Merkel said.
