Foreing Ministers of four European countries scheduled their visits to Kyiv this week, namely, Foreign Minister of Germany, France, United Kindom and Denmark. This was announced by their Ukrainian counterpart Pavlo Klimkin on air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels, reports Interfax-Ukraine News Agency.
"Not only Steinmeier (Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany) shall visit Kyiv on September 14, but also Jean-Marc Ayrault (French Foreign Minister, - ed) and Boris Johnson (Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, - Ed.), and their Danish counterpart (Kristian Jensen, - Ed.),"- he said.
At that Klimkin stressed that Steinmeier arrives in Ukraine not only as the Foreign Minister of Germany, but also as the OSCE Chairman.
Klimkin reminded that discussed with Steinmeier in Berlin their return to Normandy format negotiations, and how to make Russia fulfill Minsk agreements and help OSCE to effectively monitor situation in Donbas in general and to monitor the uncontrolled part of Ukrainian-Russian border in the long term perspective.
As it was reported earlier, President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko, German Chancellor Angela Merkel and French President adviser agreed to intensify diplomatic efforts to implement the Minsk agreements in terms of security during a telephone conversation, reports the presidential press service.
