The ministers of foreign affairs of Ukraine, Denmark, and the Czech Republic visited the area of the Joint Forces operation. This visit will help the foreign diplomats to see the looming danger from Russia. The State Border Guard Service of Ukraine reports this.
January 29, the minister of foreign affairs of Ukraine – Pavlo Klimkin, Czech Foreign Minister Tomas Petricek and his colleague from the Kingdom of Denmark Anders Samuelsen officially visited the Mariupol front-line in the Donetsk region. There they visited the water area in the Mariupol Sea Port and the sea guard ship “Donbas.” This ship guards the state border of Ukraine in Azov Sea.
The head of the Regional Directorate of the Sea Guard rear-admiral Oleg Kostur assured that the Azov Sea should be free for the navy, that’s why the Ukrainian sailors react so sharply on the provocations of Russia.
The foreign diplomats have understood the whole situation happening in the area of Joint Forces operation within the existing humanitarian corridors. They visited the central checkpoint Hnutove to get the whole picture of the situation. The First Deputy of the Head of the Regional Directorate in Donetsk-Luhansk of the State Board Guard of Ukraine Oleg Tsevelov pointed out that the reconstruction of checkpoints allows to improve the quality of the control service, to encourage creating of new additional working places for the citizens and to increase the checkpoint opportunities.
