“Not only gobiidae disappears in the Sea of Azov, but zander, common bream, roach, and other species,” the message said.
A few reasons were announced.
First of all, global warming causes an increase in the degree of salinity of the sea water and it provokes the filling of main freshwater through-passages of the Azov Sea.
Secondly, the human factors that influence the number and diversification of sea creatures of the Azov. It also includes the illicit industrial fishing of sea creatures, poaching, and pollution of the sea water by industrial establishments, leakage of oil products, emergencies in the territory of seaports and deterioration of the ecology due to the iron and steel plants.
The experts state that to prevent the extermination of fish in the Azov Sea, it is necessary to enhance the responsibility level for poaching, to control methods and instruments of fishing and ban the industrial fishing of sea creatures for a few years.
On January 18, in Odesa, the sea was "boiling" due to the difference between the temperature of water and air. In the south of Ukraine, the air temperature dropped up to 14 degrees below zero but it is enough for the Black Sea to create unusual natural phenomena. The sea has started to fume.
