European Parliament plans to consider the issue of short-term visa abolition for Ukraine on April 5, according to the message regarding legislative procedure, published on the website of European Parliament.

The forecast section shows that "Indicative plenary sitting date, 1st reading/single reading" is scheduled for April 5, 2017.

It is noteworthy that trialogue on visa liberalization for Ukraine has ended successfully on February 28, according to journalist Rikard Jozwiak. Currently the steering committee of the European Parliament has to confirm the agreement, then the decision is taken by the European Parliament during plenary session and EU Council afterwards.
