Some meetings of the EU-Ukraine summit will be devoted to the Minsk process and the Normandy format. This was stated by the representative of Ukraine in the subgroup on Humanitarian Affairs of the Trilateral contact group Iryna Gerashchenko, the 112 Ukraine TV channel reports.
"Part of the meeting will be devoted to the Minsk process and Normandy format. I just came back from Minsk, where the meeting of the Minsk Group was held. I want to say that we see the same tactics, which shows the Russian Federation, that it seems to be nothing to do on Donbas, and the militants are not willing to compromise even on key issues, such as security, such as the humanitarian aspect", said Gerashchenko.
According to her, the Ukrainian side is going to look for a compromise in order to help the ordinary people who suffer the most from the conflict, especially when it comes to the humanitarian sphere.
Recall the 18th EU-Ukraine summit in Brussels has been launched today, November 24, at 13:00 pm Kyiv time.
As previously reported, on November 23 Minsk hosted the meeting of the four sub-groups of the Trilateral contact group. After the talks Iryna Gerashchenko stated that the militants confirmed they have 57 hostages, but the compromise on their dismissal has not been reached.
