Ukraine will get the financial aid from the EU for the development of the eastern regions within 'EU support of the East of Ukraine' as the governmental portal reported.
The EU will provide the support in the economy, healthcare, educational and infrastructure spheres of Donetsk and Luhansk regions.
'The agreement on the financing of the 'EU support of the East of Ukraine' creates the new legal grounds for the implementation of the projects that aim for the employment incentives and economic growth through the aid for the development of the macro-, micro- and average enterprises, encouragement of the public initiatives, support of the structural changes in the healthcare, education and infrastructure spheres of Donetsk and Luhansk regions', the message said.
Moreover, the Ukrainian companies will become a part of the Danube transnational program according to one more agreement.
'The agreement on the financing of the Danube transnational program creates the legal grounds and provides the financial possibilities for the Ukrainian companies to participate in this initiative. The issue is about the development of the Ukrainian part of Danube region in Chernivtsi, Odesa, Ivano-Frankivsk and Zakarpattia regions. The main directions of the cooperation within the agreement are the innovations, environmental issues, infrastructure, efficient management'.
