The EU intends to allocate additional 50 million euros to restore the destroyed infrastructure of cities in Donbas. This was stated during a visit to the Donbas by the EU Commissioner for European Neighborhood Policy and Extension Johannes Hahn, reports the press service of Verkhovna Rada.

"EU Commissioner Johannes Hahn welcomed the restoration of urban infrastructure in Mariupol and said that the EU is currently considering the allocation of an additional 50 million euros for Ukraine to implement humanitarian projects and restore urban infrastructure," the report said.

In addition, he stressed that Mariupol has a great potential for development, in particular in the areas of industrial production, agro-industrial and tourism industries.
