‘Official delegations of the EU informal summit arrive to Bratislava, Slovakia. The event is to start at 11 a.m. Kyiv time. Since it is not official, there is no agenda per se – merely a number of issues to be discussed. It is expected that the participants will discuss the migration problem in the EU, economic issues, specifically the crisis in Greece and Italy. The all-European security matters – fighting terrorism and border safety – will be talked through as well. The Ukrainian issue will be raised, too – namely, the introduction of the visa free regime and completion of ratification of EU-Ukraine Association Agreement’. Correspondent of 112 Ukraine TV channel said this while reporting from Bratislava on Friday.
She added that after this summit, the Bratislava Convention should be approved; that’s the document supposed to ‘re-boot the relations between Brussels and the rest of the EU’.
