Ukraine's Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said that in the near future Ukraine would not be able to get into the list of countries for which entry into the Schengen zone is allowed. Kuleba told about this in an interview with the Segodnya news agency.

"However, we will be honest, so far we do not meet the basic criterion, which is the number of patients per 100 thousand in Ukraine should be equal to or less than the average number of patients per 100,000 in the EU," Kuleba said.

At the same time, the Minister noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine helped the Ministry of Health establish a dialogue with the European Union so that the Ukrainian side could quickly provide information not only about the number of infected people but also about the measures that are used in Ukraine to combat Covid-19.

As we reported before, the situation regarding the spread of coronavirus infection is finally stabilizing in Ukraine. Last week, the number of patients in need of hospitalization decreased significantly.
