EU and Georgia sign agreement on visa-free regime

Legislative changes will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union on March 8-9

The representatives of Georgia and the European Union signed an agreement on the final granting of visa-free regime. This was reported by Radio Liberty correspondent in Brussels Rickard Jozwiak on Twitter.

"The agreement on visa liberalization is signed, congratulations, Georgia", wrote Jozwiak.

It is expected that the legislative changes will be published in the Official Journal of the European Union on March 8-9. The decree comes into force 20 days after the date of publication, this means that the visa-free regime will work as of March 28.
