The issue of granting visa-free regime for Ukraine is on the agenda of the meeting of the EU Committee of Permanent Representatives (Coreper), which is to take place on April 26 in Brussels. This was reported by the press service of the European Union.
The appendix includes the list of according documents to be considered during the meeting, particularly this is about the regulation of the European Parliament and of the council amending Regulation (EC) No 539/2001 listing the third countries whose nationals must be in possession of visas when crossing the external borders and those whose nationals are exempt from that requirement, Ukraine belongs to them.
It is expected that the Committee’s meeting will take place at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 26.
As it was reported, European Parliament voted in favor of visa-liberalization for Ukraine on April 6.
