European ambassadors decided to prolong the asset freeze on Yanukovych and his associates for 1 year. This was reported on Twitter by Rikard Jozwiak, the Radio Liberty correspondent in Brussels.


It is noteworthy that Ivanyushchenko, the close ally of Yanukovych, was somehow removed from this list.

Earlier Switzerland has extended the arrest of Yanukovych's accounts for one year. In this regard, Viktor Yanukovych, and his son said they do not have the money in Swiss banks, "except for the company of Olexander Yanukovych Mako Trading SA,which has about 1 million Swiss francs on account in Switzerland."
