Britain’s Prime Minister Theresa May announced that the general election will take place as planned on 8 June. She said this on the results of the meeting of emergency Cobra committee, according to BBC.

Prime minister declared ‘enough is enough’ and revealed the four-point plan to fight extremism after attack that killed seven people. May also noted that latest attacks in Britain are not linked. 

“It is an ideology that is a perversion of Islam and a perversion of the truth,” she said.

As it was reported earlier, two terrorist acts took place during the night of 4 June in London. 7 people were killed, at least 48 got injured.

London police conduct a special operation in the eastern Barking district, raid takes place in a multi-apartment building, several people have already been detained.
