Kostyantyn Usov from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc may be included into the delegation

Kostyantyn Usov, a member of Ukrainian Parliament from the Petro Poroshenko Bloc "Solidarity", may be included into the Ukrainian PACE delegation instead of the expelled Svitlana Zalishchuk. This was announced by the Chairman of Ukrainian delegation in Parliament Assembly of Council of Europe Volodymyr Ariev on air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels, reported by Interfax-Ukraine.

Usov is a deputy chairman of the parliamentary committee of IT-based management and connection.

“The BPP faction made Kostyantyn Usov an offer. To enter the Ukrainian PACE delegation. He is also a journalist, he knows English perfectly and he is creative, as Svitlana is,” said Ariev, answering the question about the replacement of the expelled MPs in Ukrainian delegations to the international organizations.

According to him, PACE allows political forces to change the composition of their delegations.

As we reported earlier, during its session the Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction expelled three deputies from delegations in international organizations - Mustafa Nayem, Svitlana Zalishchuk and Natalia Nowak. 

Zalishchuk was expelled from the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Committee of the Association, Nayem – from NATO Parliamentary Assembly and the Parliamentary Assembly of the OSCE.

Deputy notes that Igor Kononeko, the first deputy head of the faction, was the initiator of the decision.
