German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhuzen

German Ambassador in Ukraine Anka Feldhusen claimed that her country is not going to change its policy when it comes to relations with Ukraine. It was mentioned in her interview with Suspilne, Ukraine's public broadcaster.

"German foreign policy never changed drastically, and it will not change with this election. We don't know yet what the coalition is going to look like, but the parties that lead the way in the polls are tuned for closer ties with Ukraine", Feldhusen said.

The diplomat is confident that none of the leading parties has "any illusions about Russia".

The ambassador also said that Germany is going to keep providing stable and reliable support for Ukraine.

As for the unfreezing of the Normandy Format talks, Feldhausen believes this process will much depend on Russia. 

The elections for German Bundestag will take place on September 26.
