’78 percent of these travelers crossed the border via land checkpoints, another 22 percent used aerial checkpoints,’ the governmental agency’s press department said.
Most of the mentioned number of people entered the EU via Polish checkpoints.
As 112 International reported, since midnight June 11, all Ukrainian citizens who own biometric IDs can travel across 30 EU member countries without visas, except for the UK and Ireland, but including Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Iceland and Norway. Ukrainians can stay in these countries for 90 days throughout the 180-days-long period.
