NATO representatives will visit Ukraine on October 30-31, 2019, at the invitation of Ukrainian authorities. The agenda of the event was announced by the Alliance's press service.
The visit will begin with a trip to Odesa on October 30. NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg and NATO Ambassadors will visit the Permanent Mine Action Group (SNMCMG2). As part of Black Sea patrol, four NATO anti-personnel vessels from Bulgaria, Italy, Romania, and Spain will be in the port of Odesa.
Stoltenberg will give a speech to the cadets of the Odesa Naval Academy.
NATO Secretary-General will hold a meeting of the NATO-Ukraine Commission with President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on October 31, in Kyiv and will make a speech at Ukrainian Parliament.
The Secretary-General and permanent representatives of NATO will meet with the Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Dmytro Razumkov, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Vadym Prystaiko and the Minister of Defense Andriy Zagorodniuk.
Deputy Secretary-General Mircea Geoana and NATO ambassadors will meet Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration Dmytro Kuleba, as well as heads of parliamentary factions.
