President's exchanged their visions of additional mechanisms and tools to support financial, economic and social reforms that are currently taking place in Ukraine. "The goal of these reforms is clear and reasonable - preparing Ukraine for membership in the European Union. I can certainly say without hesitation, in 5-6 years Ukraine has to change and meets the criteria necessary for application for EU membership”, underlined Ukrainian President.
This week's tripartite talks have failed, Russia stopped supplying gas to Ukraine. This issue was raised during the briefing. “We call upon Russia to return to the negotiating table immediately.
